Intake Session for Individuals and Couples

$240 per 90-minute session for individual sessions

$300 per 90-minute session for couples and family therapy

Do you offer Direct Billing?

Valentino & Associates utilizes the TELUS Health eClaims platform to process direct billing for our telehealth therapy clients across Ontario. By submitting claims directly through this secure system, we can instantly determine your coverage at the time of your session, minimizing your out-of-pocket costs and eliminating insurance paperwork. 

Check Your Designation Coverage: TELUS Health supports direct billing for Registered Social Workers (RSW). Before booking, call your provider to confirm which specific designation your workplace plan covers. 

Policy Restrictions: A small percentage of corporate insurance policies block third-party portal submissions. If your policy has this restriction, we will immediately provide a detailed receipt to submit manually for rapid reimbursement

What is your cancellation policy?

When a session is booked with Johanna, that time is set aside for that specific individual.  As such, we require notification 48 business hours in advance to cancel the appointment.  This policy helps facilitate a booking for another client in need.  We reserve the right to charge the full session fee for appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 48 business hours' notice. Extenuating circumstances are handled by the clinic on a case-by-case basis; clients are encouraged to contact Johanna should they have any questions or concerns.

What are your methods of payment?

All clients are required to have a credit card on file. Fees not covered by insurance can be paid by Visa, Mastercard, os American Express. Clients pay at the beginning or end of each session.

For clinically related telephone calls, letters, and reports completed outside of treatment sessions, billing is in 10-minute intervals at the clinician’s hourly rate.
